In this class, Professor Measures will guide the students through Adobe InDesign. This class will prepare independent writers to publish their work to Blurb.com.

Writers working alone may find InDesign difficult. However, in this class, every writer will learn the steps required to upload their work to Blurb.com. In past multimedia classes every student completed projects. As in his other classes, Professor Measures encourages writers to bring their own projects. Blurb.com will print novels and photo albums for less than the cost of xerox copies.

Introduction to the College Essay
WEBSITE IN AN HOUR
Learn how to build a basic Google website. Take advantage of Google free web hosting and web software to build a personal site.
Instructor Payne provides three examples of sites and step-by-step notes.
This course introduces students to the critical thinking and basic writing skills required for college.
Basic writing skills include notes, outlines, quotes, and first-draft essay exams.
Instructor will emphasize the one-draft essay exam.
Students will learn effective sentence, paragraph, and essay structures. Coursework will stress the appropriate use of standard English, grammar, punctuation, and mechanics.
Students will learn to ace the essay.swfs/looking_west.swf
Classwork requires internet access and discipline.
